1st Amendment:
Guaranteed the freedoms to religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition. This amendment was ratified on December 15, 1791.
2nd Amendment
Protects the rights of a person to bare arms or own weapons. This amendment was ratified on December 15, 1791.
3rd Amendment
Got rid of forcing citizens to let soldiers to stay in their homes and supplying for them. This amendment was ratified on December 15, 1791.
4th Amendment
Gives people the right to feel secure in their homes and banned unreasonable home searches and seizures. This amendment was ratified on December 15, 1791.
5th Amendment
Gives people the right to choose not to testify in court if their own testimony will make them feel guilty. This amendment was ratified on December 15, 1791.
6th Amendment
Guarantees the right to a speedy and fair trial and states that the people accused with the crime and charges have the right to confront the witnesses that the government brings. The government also has to supply a lawyer. This amendment was ratified on December 15, 1791.
7th Amendment
States that the right of trial by jury should be preserved otherwise it should be re-examined by any court in the US. This amendment was ratified on December 15, 1791.
8th Amendment
No Cruel or abnormal punishments are allowed. Also there is no need for any unnecessary fines. This amendment was ratified on December 15, 1791.
9th Amendment
People have more rights than the ones listed in the bill of rights. This amendment was ratified on December 15, 1791.
10th Amendment
Limits the power that the Government has and gives the powers that are not specifically given to the Government in the Constitution to the states or the people. This amendment was ratified on December 15, 1791.
